We’ve been reporting on several leaks and rumors about Apple’s iPhone lineup for 2022 over the past several weeks. And now, another fresh leak has appeared, showing the design of the complete Apple iPhone 14 series.
According to MacRumors, the latest leak comes from photos of Apple iPhone 14 series molds that highlight the design and camera bump size of the four models. According to the report, these molds were spotted on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). As a result, they are more probable to be molds used for third-party iPhone protective covers than molds used in the manufacture of real devices.
When looking at these molds, the most noticeable feature is clearly the lack of an iPhone mini model. Apart from that, we may expect to see changes in the sizes of iPhones in 2022. This year, the Cupertino-based company is officially discontinuing the 5.4-inch iPhone model, which did not hold up well in the smartphone market.
As a result of the low sales, Apple is now moving toward bigger iPhone sizes. As a result, the four models we see are the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The camera bump is another noticeable design change with the 2022 iPhones. The camera bump sizes for the whole series, it appears, will be taller than the previous generation, the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 14 series, on the other hand, will have a similar design, with flat edges and rounded corners. The front, on the other hand, is expected to replace current the big notch with a circular punch-hole cutout.
Will iPhone 14 come?
Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 is expected to be released in India on October 31st, 2022, at a price of Rs 79,900.
What is expected iPhone 14?
The Apple iPhone 14 is rumored to be powered by the next-generation A16 Bionic processor with up to 4GB of RAM. The A15 Bionic SoC, which is already seen in the iPhone 13 series and the most recent iPhone SE 3, is expected to run the standard models of the iPhone 14.
