OnePlus Nord 2T will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 SoC

OnePlus has yet to introduce the Nord 2T, but more information about the upcoming smartphone is starting to rise. The OnePlus Nord 2T has been the focus of a lot of confusion in the time leading up to its May 19 launch. The OnePlus Nord 2T will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 processor, the company has announced.

A few weeks ago, the Dimensity 1300 Processor was announced. It is likely that the OnePlus Nord 2T will be the first smartphone to approach the new technology. The Dimensity 1300 builds on the Dimensity 1200 in various ways. Both processors are fabricated on a 6nm technology, with the latest chip including four Cortex A-78 cores, four A55 cores, and a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is manufactured by TSMC foundries.

OnePlus publishes daily key insights on the Nord 2T in the run-up to its formal unveiling. We already know that the OnePlus Nord 2T’s rumored 4,500mAh battery will enable 80W SuperVOOC charging. According to OnePlus, the Nord 2T can be charged in 15 minutes. There are still a few major aspects to be revealed before the Nord 2T is officially unveiled. The phone’s camera configuration and display are likely to be revealed before the official launch.

There have already been rumors and leaks about the OnePlus Nord 2T’s camera and display. It is expected to include a 50MP primary camera with flagship-level capability. The Nord 2T’s rumored camera setup includes an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro, and a 32MP front camera. The OnePlus Nord 2T is also said to have a 6.43-inch FHD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Other specifications, such as pricing and availability, are still lacking for the Nord 2T. These will be available during the launch event on May 19th, 2022.
