Upcoming Vivo IQOO NEO 5 Vitality Edition Key Specs Revealed

IQOO launched the IQOO NEO 5 a few months ago as a more affordable gaming-centric smartphone. Now, the company is preparing to release a brand new version known as the Vivo IQOO NEO 5 Vitality Edition.

The new smartphone will be unveiled on May 24th, 2021, but due to reports, we already know the majority of its features. The system has now been described on, unveiling its architecture and core specifications.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC will support the forthcoming Vivo iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition. For those that are unfamiliar, this is a Snapdragon 865 on steroids that provides better results while being less expensive than the Snapdragon 888.

The device would also have a triple-camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the photos and key specifications unveiled by the Chinese retailer.

Based on the photographs, we can confirm that the Vivo iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition will have a full-screen display with a punch-hole in the upper right corner. Moving on, the phone has a triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash on the back.

The device would be located inside a rectangular camera module on the top left corner of the rear panel. The smartphone would also have a fingerprint scanner on the left, implying the presence of an LCD display rather than an AMOLED screen. The panel is said to have a diagonal of 6.57 inches and an FHD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels). It will have a whopping refresh rate of 144Hz.

The latest gaming device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC based on a 7nm+ fabrication process. The system would have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. We can expect up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.


As is usual, iQOO will most likely have its virtual RAM engine in the Android 11-based OriginOS. It will allow users to increase RAM by at least 3GB when required. This virtual RAM uses some of your internal storage.

The triple rear camera setup is led by a 48MP sensor in terms of optics. It is supported by an 8MP and a 2MP camera. We think the first is for ultra-wide-angle images, and the sensor may be either macro or depth.

We have a 16MP punch-hole sensor for selfies. The new phone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The latest smartphone will be under 200 grams in weight.
