Xiaomi officially introduced the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro smartphones today. TechnikNews has all of the details on the Xiaomi gadgets. Because the “Mi” designation is no longer relevant, the smartphones are now simply referred to as Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro.
Xiaomi 11T Smartphone Specifications (Key Specs)
The Xiaomi 11T is the less price of the two options. It includes a modified version of the “MediaTek Dimensity 1200” processor known as the “MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra.” The 6 nm chip was already used in the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone (there is an AI version), and it performed well. The processor is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi’s display is a 6.67-inch Full HD + 120-Hz AMOLED screen with an adaptable refresh rate (only between 60 and 120 Hz).
Gorilla Glass Victus is used for the display screen, and the maximum brightness is 1000 nits. On the rear, there are three cameras: a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5 megapixel “tele-macro camera.” The configuration is relatively similar to that of the Mi 11, as the ultra-wide-angle camera has 8 megapixels but instead of 13 megapixels. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels and is located in a punch hole in the center of the display.
The fingerprint sensor is located on the right-hand side, rather than in the display. The smartphone includes two stereo speakers and is compatible with all popular cellular protocols (5G, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, WLAN 6). It does not, however, support wireless charging. The operating system is MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11. Xiaomi has previously stated that the 11T series would receive three OS upgrades and four years of security patches in the run-up to the event. The battery is likely one of the series’ features; the 5000 mAh battery can be charged with 67 watts via cable. Xiaomi talks from 0 to 100 in 36 minutes, as our test will clarify.
From October 1st, the Xiaomi 11T will be available in the colors “Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue” for 549 euros with 128 and 599 euros with 256GB of internal storage. The pre-order process starts today, and pre-orderers will receive a free Mi Watch (while stocks last).
Xiaomi 11T Pro Specifications (Key Specs)
The Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with a few more “flagship functions.” The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Ultra as the Chipset. The smartphone is also available with 12GB of RAM, as well as the “basic” 11T variants (8 128/256). The cameras, as well as the LCD, are similar.
The “Xiaomi HyperCharge” fast charging technology, which charges the smartphone at 120 watts, is unique. This takes 17 minutes to charge the 5000 mAh battery from 0% to 100%. Within 10 minutes, the battery can be charged to 72 percent, allowing the user to last a day. Xiaomi insists on TÜV Rheinland verification, which should validate the technology’s safety and durability. According to the company, “80 percent battery health after 800 cycles.”
The stereo speakers in the pro edition were developed with “Harman Kardon,” but those in the standard 11T were not. The fingerprint sensor is also placed on the on/off button. From October 1st, the Xiaomi 11T Pro will also be available in the colors “Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue” for 649 euros with 128 and 699 euros with 256GB of internal storage. The pre-order phase started today, and pre-orderers will get one Mi Watch (while stocks last).
