In late December 2021, Xiaomi revealed MIUI 13 during the Xiaomi 12 series launch event in China. Almost a month later, the brand is preparing to make an official announcement in international markets about the latest version of its mobile operating system.
On January 26th, 2022 at 8 p.m. (GMT+8), Xiaomi will hold a global launch event. The company has also revealed that the Redmi Note 11 series would be unveiled at this event.
As a result, we believe MIUI 13 will be announced globally at the same time. Because the teaser was released just hours after Xiaomi announced the date and timing of its next international conference on its official MIUI Twitter handle.
In case you didn’t know, Xiaomi has already updated several of its smartphones in China to MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. However, it has provided software builds for a number of international models.
As a result, it comes as no surprise that MIUI 13 will be released worldwide later this month. We assume the company providing beta builds for the Mi Pilot teases ahead to or soon after the event.
MIUI 13 will be available in Q1 2022 for most smartphones released outside of mainland China in 2021, according to the company. As a result, the full public release might begin as early as February.
