Upcoming Xiaomi MI CC10 Mobile Supports Snapdragon 870 chip

A Weibo tipster announced today that the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi CC10 series will use Qualcomm’s new sub-flagship processor, the Snapdragon 870. It will also have a flexible screen. Previously, the same source revealed the phone’s battery size, saying it would be 4360mAh. This is what we know for the time being about the new smartphone series.

As you can recall, Xiaomi and Meitu announced a cooperation deal in 2019. Based on the above, Xiaomi took control of Meitu’s smartphone market. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 series was announced shortly after this deal. Simultaneously, the Mi CC9 Pro was the first mass-produced smartphone with a 100MP camera. But apart from these two, there was a third model, a customized version of the CC9 Meitu.

It is worth noting that Meitu reclaimed permission for Meitu smartphones this year. According to reports, Xiaomi has stopped production of the CC series. But it’s been almost a year before we’ve heard anything about the next CC10 line models. For example, in June 2020, we heard that the Xiaomi Mi CC10 would have a 120x telephoto lens. Following this release, we saw some protective cases that showed the exact design of the upcoming device. Furthermore, our protagonist was seen in spy photos.

Upcoming Xiaomi MI CC10 Smartphone Processor

According to today’s leak, the Xiaomi Mi CC10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor. As previously said, it is a pseudo-flagship chip. Prior to this, the rumored CC10 Pro was seen on GeekBench with a Snapdragon 865+ chip. So we can assume that the vendor intended to ship this model earlier and with an older processor.

In this respect, it’s worth considering the parallels and differences between these two.
