Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G Global Launch Date Officially Revealed

The company has publicly announced the launch date of the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G via a teaser poster. This comes just hours after POCO Global executives Kevin Xiaobo Qiu and Angus Ng announced the handset’s presence.

The POCO M3 Pro will be available in global markets on May 19th, 2021 and although the promotional picture doesn’t say anything more about the hardware specs, the smartphone is said to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 10 5G.

The POCO M3 Pro will have a high screen refresh rate and a MediaTek chipset, according to the company.

If the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 10 5G, the following are its specifications. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display, a punch-hole camera, 1100 nits of brightness, and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD slot.

The phone runs Android 11 with the MIUI 12 custom skin on top and includes a 5,000mAh battery with 18W quick charging support.


In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 10 5G has three rear cameras a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. There is an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The device includes an IR blaster and Hi-Res audio. Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, 5G, dual-band 4G, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers are among the connectivity features.
