Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G MIUI 14 update rolling out in India

Xiaomi started releasing the MIUI 14 update for the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G back in January. It was first offered for the smartphone model made for the EEA. A month later, the update has now become now available for the Indian version.

The phone’s latest OS is based on Android 13. Two out of the 3 major Android updates have thus far been delivered to the device.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G’s MIUI 14 update, according to Xiaomiui, has a build number of V14.0.3.0.TKOINXM is available in India. Users will receive the system update through OTA.

It is being given out in batches, just like any other software update. Therefore, it is now restricted to a small number of users. In any case, the update will be available to all devices in the following days.

In the second half of 2021, Xiaomi announced the 11 Lite NE 5G model. It launched with MIUI 12.5, an Android 11-based user interface. In the first quarter of 2022, the smartphone received an update to MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.

According to Xiaomi’s official update policy, the smartphone will continue to get security patches and one more Android update (Android 14) until 2025. At the earliest, late 2023 or 2024 will likely see the release of the next significant update.

Hardware on the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is more than sufficient for the coming years. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a 6.55-inch 10-bit FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, a 4,250mAh battery, support for 33W fast wired charging, and other features are included.
