OnePlus has dropped the OnePlus V20P01 December update which brings a bunch of improvements and new features to many of its phones and tablets. This will roll out from December 2nd, 2024 and will be live on all eligible devices by January 2nd, 2025.
OnePlus V20P01 update is to improve functionality, look and feel and performance. It adds new features, refines existing ones and improves system stability so you have a smoother and better experience.
Highlights:
- Redesigned Weather and Clock widgets for better layout and usability on the Home screen
- New styles for Clock widgets for more customization options
In Photos app:
- Filtered view to help you organize your photos, videos and favorite content
- Slider to show photo dates while browsing
- Lock entire photo albums for more privacy and convenience
- ProXDR preserves high-dynamic-range photos even after editing with a watermark
- New boarding pass recognition feature to scan and save passes directly to Google Wallet

Important Notes:
The update will roll out gradually and not all users will get the notification immediately. Users can check for the update by going to Settings > About device and then OxygenOS card to check for updates. To see the current version, go to Settings > About device > Version > SOTA version.
The update log on the device may be slightly different from the one here as this consolidates the changelogs from multiple devices and some features may vary depending on device and software support. The update is live in some Asia-Pacific countries including Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore and Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE. We will roll out to more regions soon.
